I'm Denny, your host since 2018 (previous accomodation on Google or here, check out the reviews: 'Magnificent Mansion Apartment' - 8.7 Traveller Review Awards 2022 on BookingCom ;-) and a permanent resident of this very unique loft apartment. Intrests and passions? Music, connecting, philosophy, politics, art, film, nature, radio, writing, travelling... I always welcome you personally, virtually or live. So you know with whom you are sharing the mansion and... you can feel extra at home. If you have any questions/wishes or just want to have a talk, feel free to give a little sign. Because, above all, this loft apartment is a peaceful haven for personalities, not for numbers. I wish you an enjoyable stay.

1. This neighbourhood has the best of both worlds: very nearby Ghent centre, lots of (parking) space, no city stress things (noise, too much traffic...), social/practical possibilities and... a very good connection to the public transport & all the highways (R4 Ring of Ghent, E17, E40...). You have several parks in the region, several shops & restaurants,...  Also very nearby: a pharmacist, a doctor, a gas station, a butcher/bachery, a night shop, several warehouses... 2. This is a very pedestrian/bicylist friendy region, with different roads to the city of Ghent or to more nature. Wanna rent a bike? Ghent offers bike-delivery at home or in the city, but also at the 2 big railway stations (Gent-Dampoort or Gent Sint-Pieters). The bus stop is on very nearby ,there is even a (electric) mobility parking space on 50 meters. Do you come by car? There is one free big public parking on 50 meters (near the church of Merelbeke-Flora, on the 'Floraplein'), but you can also park in the streets on the side.
