Villa Nautilus is a unique two bedroom holiday home within a 5000 square metre lushly planted private property situated at the heart of Corfu island. The property is ideally suitable for couples or families that enjoy being close but still far enough from the hustle and the bustle of the city centre and the main tourist areas. Conveniently located within a ten minute drive from Corfu town, five minute drive to Aqualand (Corfu's and one of Europe's biggest waterparks) and ten to fifteen minutes to the beautiful shores of the west of the island (Glyfada,Kontogyalos, Agios Gordios, Gyaliskari and Ermones) as well as an 18 hole golf course (Ermones-Corfu golf club) but still offering peace of mind with the quieteness of its immediate suroundings consisting mainly of green fields, gently sloped hills and a small residential area neighbouring with parts of the property.
Easy going and extremely sociable person!I literally could not live without being surrounded by the sea!I really enjoy swimming, fishing, sailing and travelling!
Afra is a beautiful village, relatively close to the city of Corfu and built along the top of a smooth range of hills above the Prairie of Ropas. Bridges made of stone, old ruined mansions, with dominant the Kourkoumelis mansion, abandoned today, create the atmosphere of the lords of the 17th and 18th century who lived in this region. During summertime the echo of the music played in village festivals nearby can be heard while relaxing by the pool. Other sounds include roosters, sheep and donkeys that still today make up for some of the villagers everyday lives. Space between the properties big enough to enhance the sense of privacy. Overall a very quiet village with some of the kindest residents anyone can find.
