Overlooking the surrounding jungle and valley, Villa Merdu Ubud is a self-catered villa with an outdoor swimming pool, just a 7-minute drive from Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest and 4.4 km north of Ubud main road. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Ubud Palace and Ubud Market are each a 5 minutes' drive away. There is a free private parking on site. This villa offers spacious bedrooms, an outdoor seating area with international and USB plugs, a large kitchen and dining area, as well as a communal living room. The bathroom comes with a shower, a bath, a small garden, and free toiletries. For dining options, staff at Villa Merdu Ubud can arrange grocery deliveries. The host is a music lover, and lover of people. Speaks perfect English. You may see the owner from time to time, but generally the villa is managed by wonderful Balinese staff.

Impormasyon ng accommodation

Villa Merdu has 2 areas for rental: (1) Jungle Villa, which is a honeymoon style suite with plunge pool and private access via card reader security. Total size is 100sq/m. This villa is a separate free standing villa away from the main villa. (2) Main Villa, has 3 bedrooms, with large outdoor pool, overlooking a jungle style valley. Essentially we have set the villa up as a home stay. For rental are: 2 x Superior King (60sq/m), and 1 x Master Suite (78 sq/m which inc. it's own kitchenette with small fridge & sink ). If renting any of these 3 rooms in the main villa, you have full use of the villa, main kitchen, living areas, pool etc. Also, each room in the main villa has a desk; a water dispenser with clean water; smart TV; walk in robe; shower & bath, A/C; ceiling fans. *NB: this is a 'shared villa'.

Junjungan Village is a well known village of Ubud.....proud of their ceremonies, tradition and they host weekly Kecak dancing at the village temple (on Monday nights). This is a quiet, peaceful village, with lush surrounds & cooler temperatures than downtown Ubud. The villa itself is on the north side of Ubud, approx 4.5km from the main road - Jalan Ray Ubud. We are on road named - Jalan Tirta Tawar. We do suggest renting a scooter, but there are local drivers that can transfer you into Ubud if/when you need. For reference the villa is aprrox 5km from the Palace (corner of Monkey Forest Rd & Jalan Suweta), and 7km from the Monkey Forest Sanctuary.
