Seuls les matériaux traditionnels ont été utilisés pour sa rénovation : tadelakt, bois, étoffes locales, pierre de salé. Pas de surcharge ni de pastiche orientalisant, mais un parti pris de sobriété avec une note contemporaine. Les objets de décoration typique portent les traces du temps et viennent agrémenter les espaces pour parfaire à la magie des lieux.
