Our business is simply modeled after the radical hospitality and selfless service to others that Jesus taught and demonstrated during His earthly ministry. We gladly welcome guests from all nations regardless of religious identification. | WOMEN'S RETREATS | Launching in 2024, and offered periodically throughout the year, the Retreats at Orchid Lodge are specially curated all-inclusive experiences for women of all ages and backgrounds who are looking for a relaxing, uplifting, and restorative tropical getaway. With an emphasis on community, conversations, and Christian fellowship, participants will engage with an intimate small group of like-minded women who are also seeking rest, renewal, realignment, reconnection, and refreshment. Our retreats are different from other programs offered in Koh Samui due to our focus on Christian discipleship and studying the way of Jesus. In addition to popular island-based activities and outings to explore the sights, sounds, smells, flavors, and culture of Samui, our retreats incorporate the spiritual disciplines of prayer, worship, Bible study, sabbath, and quiet time with God. Participants do not need to identify as Christian to attend, and we welcome women at any stage in her faith journey who may have a desire to explore or deepen a relationship with God and to learn about the teachings of Jesus in a safe, supportive, and welcoming space among other women pursuing the same. Freshly renovated in 2023, each of our six private lodges is uniquely customized and thoughtfully designed with special touches to enhance your comfort. Start your day with our healthy homemade poolside breakfast, cool off in the afternoon with a refreshing swim in our infinity pool, and book a relaxing massage at our brand new on-site spa. Orchid Lodge Samui is located in the quieter southeast region of the island of Koh Samui. We are: --- 40 minutes from Koh Samui International Airport --- 30 minutes from Fisherman's Village --- 30 minutes from Nathon Pier --- 25 minutes from Chaweng --- Less than 10 minutes from Lamai --- 3 minutes from Hua Thanon. The Orchid Lodge Samui is tucked away on a hill in a private residential area just south of Lamai, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Our surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, and there is no outside street traffic, allowing the property to remain private, but with easy access to the main road at the bottom of the hill. We strongly advise our guests to use some form of transport for getting around (motorbike, vehicle, or taxi), as the hill may be quite challenging for some guests and there may be insufficient lighting to walk at night. We are happy to arrange a motorbike, car rental, or taxi at any point during your visit. Just let us know your needs and we can help to coordinate your preferred mode of transportation. There is free parking in front of the property for guests. At the bottom of the hill, there is a full-service laundry shop, as well as a self-service laundromat, if you need to wash your clothes during your stay. There is also a Tops Daily mini-mart, ATM machine, and currency exchange at the bottom of the hill for your convenience.
