Situated within 6 km of Beamish Museum, The Punch Bowl features accommodation with free WiFi and flat-screen TV. The bed and breakfast features a beer garden.

Friendly welcome and attention staff. Very comfortable rooms and lovely shower. The children loved the room and bunk beds. Some comments mention noise from the bar but we didn't find this a problem.

Located in Chester-le-Street, The Lambton Worm offers en-suite bed-and-breakfast accommodation with free on-site private parking.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was newly redecorated and lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The pub downstairs had a fun quiz night on and the breakfast included with the room price was substantial and yummy. Overall, I can't fault the place and the people who work there made the experience phenomenal.
