Very friendly folks at Tara, and Sujeet makes a a great omlette and toast for breakfast. The room was very comfortable, and it was so useful to have a kettle and tea and coffee sachets, and the snacks were a really nice thought too. Just remember to let Sujeet know if you need the hot water switched on for the shower.

A hidden gem with a rooftop restaurant and an extended floor which provides a 360 degree view of Varanasi, overlooking the Ganges River. The deluxe double room was very nice, the bed was very comfortable a the bathroom the most beautiful I have ever seen in an Indian guest house! And they have a good and reasonable priced laundry service.
