Cindy, the manager, went above and beyond for us. I've been to Carmel dozens of times and had never heard of this gem. It's charming...within walking distance to all the Carmel restaurants and shops. We will definitely make it our go-to place to stay!

At any time there was tea and Coffee availavle in the Lobby. Colton Inn is really close to downtown Monterey and fisherman's wharf. Breakfast was good, we liked that they seemed to think about sustainability. Not everything was packaged so that there was less waste We would have liked real dishes though. It was just perfect for us.

It's a well-maintained older property on a street with many similar style hotels. The rooms are modern and the hotel was quiet during our stay. We'd stay again in the future.CharlesYoung couple
