Nestled on a crest between Lake Millstatt and Spittal an der Drau in the Naturschutzgebiet Egelsee Nature Reserve, Lug ins Land boasts a barbecue and children's playground. Very good reception. English speaker. Dinner was good. Very quiet surroundings. All facilities good. It is a bit oldish, but classical Austrian house.

Featuring a restaurant serving traditional Carinthian cuisine, Landhaus Gritschacher is 4 km from the centre of Spittal an der Drau and just a 2-minute walk from the Teurnia Roman Museum. The location is ideal for Alpe-Adria Radweg cyclist. The owners are extremely kind and nice and willing to help with information and everything. The food was excellent. Breakfast was amazingly rich and the choice of different types of food - mostly made by owners from the locally produced ingredients and is eco-fiendly. E-bike storage is available with charging units. Leberknödelsuppe and all sorts of savory or sweet dumplings/raviolli/nudeln are to be tasted.

Just 500 metres from Lake Millstatt, Familiengut Ertlhof is located in the centre of Seeboden. The garden includes an outdoor pool and a children’s playground. nice people at any time of the day. Fast service, we can recomment the accomodation for a stay with children.
