A traditional Viennese-style café in a 16th-century building in the pedestrian zone in the centre of Melk, Madar Café Restaurant zum Fürsten is only 500 metres from Melk Abbey. Clean rooms, friendly and attentive staff, the included breakfast was nice and tasty. We also ate our dinners there in the evening. The food was to our liking and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended!

The Family Gruber made us feel very welcome. The food and service was superb. We highly recommend Gasthaus Donaublick.
