Situated in Ballum, 28 km from Ribe Cathedral, Ballum Slusekro features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Excellent value for money and the included breakfast is amazing. But the best thing about this visit was the evening meal. Absolutely brilliant food. Best steak I have had in a long time.

I wish I could have stayed longer. When I needed to cut my trip short, the owner was very understanding and helpful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Located in the southern Jutland town of Løgumkloster, this retreat centre is on the grounds of an old Cistercian monastery and church. It offers free WiFi and buffet restaurant. Peaceful location in lovely grounds. Not a standard hotel - a bit more communal (unforced) eg all eat dinner at 6 pm with a focus on finding peace and slowing down . Many rooms to read and study in. The manager showed us around and explained the concept even though we were really just passing through. Also very good value for money by Danish standards

Situated next to Schackenborg Castle in the picturesque village of Møgeltønder, this inn dates back to 1687. It offers free Wi-Fi, tastefully decorated rooms and a gourmet restaurant. One wonders how close to paradise a hotel can come. Schackenborg Slotskro comes a very close! Yes its pricey, but its worth it if you can afford this luxury. Dating back to the 17th century, the charming Billum Kro is situated 10 km from the shores of the North Sea. It offers free parking and rooms with TV and a private bathroom with shower. Excellent location along the bike trail . Room was large , very clean and had excellent external as well as interior lighting. Comfortable bed and clean, bright toilet . Reception was very friendly. Stored bike right in room . Breakfast was very good and with multiple food options . On-site restaurant was quite good with reasonable price point .

This hotel is set in a renovated 1790s building. The hotel restaurant offers traditional Danish cuisine and imported Italian wines. It has exceeded our expectations. We have experienced a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Wonderful breakfast as well.

Established in 1842, the charming Tambohus Kro is an inn that enjoys a unique location by the Limfjord opposite Jegind Island and close to Thy National Park. Spacious room with Sofagroup and large bed. Very nice interior and quiet.

Situated in Havneby, 1.2 km from Soenderstrand Beach, Havneby Kro features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Some rooms at the property have a terrace with a sea view. staff were so friendly and helpful. Our meal in restaurant was great- both evening and breakfast
