Rooms were a good size, very clean and comfortable. Both the evening meal (salad starter, fuck breast with pasta, cheese, and home made tart) and breakfast (croissant, bread, copious coffee, lots of different jams etc.) were first class. locally sourced wine was very drinkable, and at around €15 a bottle, great value.

The property is non-smoking and is located 39 km from Etangs Golf. We stayed here for one night on our way back motorcycling through France to the UK. The hotel is in a lovely quite area with some fantastic roads around. Secure parking is important to us and the owner let us stow our bikes away in his garage at the back of the hotel. The accommodation is clean and tidy and looks newly refurbished. There is nothing else around here apart from a few houses and a church, we opted for the evening meal which was good, breakfast was a selection of rolls & pastries, a bit basic but it's a privately run place and not a big hotel chain. There's a bar and some pub games to keep people occupied in the evening.

Beautiful surroundings, big room with unique and very charming design that fits the environment, very clean, combines old style of the building with modern facilities in a harmonious way and finally the view is great. It was a pleasure to spend my time there, as the hosts are also very friendly, communicative and are capable of speaking English. The breakfast and dinner were great as well. This Auberge was one of my highlights in regards to accommodation in France.
