We had a great afternoon and evening at the inn. The Sunday roast was the best we have had in the UK. The room was spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated. We stopped on the way from Edinburgh for an overnight stop. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

It was beautiful and so cozy! It was unexpected because its located on top of a bar, but it was just such a lovely room, very clean, great shower, excellent location, easy check in, just perfect.

Located in Chester-le-Street, The Lambton Worm offers en-suite bed-and-breakfast accommodation with free on-site private parking. My partner and I stay here for 7 nights, and I cannot fault it at all, clean room, lovely breakfast, we also ate in the restaurant the food was very tasty and not that pricey, all the staff were lovely and extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome, as did the locals, I’ve never visited a place where the people are so friendly. There is a real sense of community in this place, and it reminded me of my hometown. We both slept like babies every night, the bed was really comfortable This place is a little gem, right in the middle of the places we wanted to explore, Beamish 8 mins away, Whitley Bay 30 mins drive, Holy Island 1hr 30 mins, Newcastle 38 mins on the bus, the bus stop is directly outside the pub, catch the number 21 bus price was £5.10 return. We spent nearly every night in the pub, and you could see how well it was run, so big shout out the manager and all the staff. They were on the ball, tables cleared and wiped down straight away, they worked as a team like clockwork. We thoroughly enjoy are stay here and it was lovely to meet everyone.

Situated 5 minutes’ drive from the County Durham coastline, The Seaton Lane Inn - The Inn Collection Group features free on-site parking and is just over 10 miles from Durham city centre. nice and cozy staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent and drink good value for money

The Kingslodge Inn - The Inn Collection Group offers a cosy bar, a restaurant and easy access to Durham city centre. There is free parking on-site. Staff were very friendly and helpful, went above and beyond at times , nice clea modern dining and bar area , decent selection of beers and lagers , room was clean and comfortable , the food was very nice and well presented

They could not do enough for us . The rooms were really comfortable. They even prepared a Gluten free breakfast . The staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast lovely . Would not hesitate in recommending as a place to stay .
