The George Inn is very close to the tourist information centre in Castleton, which is start os a number go great walks in the Peak District. The team very very friendly - great breakfast and offers good pub food in the evenings. The room was a nice size - thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Barrel Inn is a wonderful find. Interesting historic building beautifully maintained and decorated. Lovely warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and a very comfortable and warm room. Altogether fully recommended.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Dinner especially was of a very high standard and was honestly one of the best meals that I've ever eaten. Breakfast too was of a very high standard. Our room was large and comfortable and the bathroom equally so.

The room was so spacious and well designed. The staff was super helpful. I had left behind something and the team managed to get it delivered to me in London within a day. The neighbourhood is amazing and has several places to visit.
