It is a very traditional Japanese Kaiseki meal so if you are picky then maybe it’s not for you. But I loved it. It’s definitely an experience. The location is perfect - Literally like a two minute walk to the train station and bus stop to the hakone ropeway and odawara station so if you have luggages, it’s not a problem. It was nice to have the free shuttle from Odawara station rather than taking public transit, but the ropeway was very close to the hotel. The ferry was also very close to the hotel so it was easy to get around with the Hakone Freepass.
