Everything was perfect! Absolutely perfect! The elephants are majestic and the whole atmosphere at the lodge is incredible! Found myself sitting staring at the elephants for hours. Breakfast was very good. And the staff… Best staff I ever met! Each and every one of them is amazing and made our stay even more perfect. My top recommendation for sure!

What an absolutely stunning place! We were staying as two families of 4 adults and 4 children. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the children just loved the space to run around AND see the zebras up close. We stayed in the middle of winter…. Yes it’s cold BUT the rooms were lovely and warm and the staff went out of their way to light the fires, add blankets, put the heaters on and fill water bottles so we actually didn’t feel the cold at all at night. A huge thank you to Celestine and the team for making our 2 night stay just perfect. Don’t miss a stay at Stanley Island!

Very beautiful hotel. The room was large, with beautiful decor and a beautiful view. Very nice pool area and the restaurant on the property serves good food. Nice place to just relax.

Similar to an Aparthotel, spacious luxury suite with private balcony and communal roof terrace on our building. Personal welcome letter and small touches around the room, such as fresh flowers on the linen. Large choice of continental and hot breakfast included with the stay!

Everything about this villa is classy and upmarket, the fixtures and furniture at this place is truly exceptional. Bernard helped me with easy checkin and checkout and fixed a fire for me in the TV room fireplace, he is such a gem. Value for money like this I have never experienced in any of my travels. Bed super comfortable with high quality linen. Highly recommended.

Very spacious, 100% the play area, availability of all the necessities in the flat. Loved that there was a bath for kids and shower for us. Loved the view, and fresh air.

Each bedroom has a bathroom. Gas stove is perfect for load shedding. The weber on the balcony is lovely for a family braai. Loved the washing machine and tumble dryer! There was more than enough bedding and very nice towels. We appreciated the extra hand soap.
