The hosts Richard and Kailey are amazing, Richard cooks super tasty food that one can order for breakfast and dinner and Kailey is a fantastic yoga teacher. Calla Retreat also has a beautiful garden with a pond, sunbeds and plenty of hammocks to chill on :)

It's a crazy drive up a mountain, but then you wake up in the tree tops. There is free guest wifi. I had a suite at the top of the house. It is such a magical place! I sat in the morning on the large balcony watching swifts and swallows dart, gold finches, blue tits and that most magical of sights a golden oriel!! The host communicated well, sending me a message via the booking app. with a precise location. He has great english and was very friendly and chatty. There is a small shop selling snacks etc, so I bought a packaged croissant. The coffee was exceptional!
