This is our second time staying here and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive jungle experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

The Last Frontier Boutique Resort ligger på en 100 meter hög kulle med utsikt över Kinabatangan Forest Reserve i Bilit, 2 timmars bilresa från den vackra Sandakan. What a find! Our stay was just brilliant. A really personalised experience, the food was incredible and all activities were in small groups. We had several different dietary requirements within our group and they catered to this extremely well - lots of variety but each meal was equally delicious! Jason provided the best hospitality we’ve had in 5 months in Asia. He went above and beyond to help us organise the next parts of our trip, booking onward travel for us and giving us some great tips for our upcoming Mt Kinabalu climb! Thank you so much 😊

Comfortable dining room with complete kitchen facilities. Comfortable and very clean room complete with iron, hair dryer,kettle. Stunning and wonderful view of Mount Kinabalu. Definitely will stay again. The owner/host very nice and helpful.

Maglami-lami Water House ligger i Semporna och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet samt en restaurang. Det finns ett fullt utrustat eget badrum med en bidé och tofflor. Just living on the water. No sand, no bugs, just simple wooden floor and tourquise sea beneath your feet. And the staff is just one of a kind. If you need anything, they are there to assist you. But if you want your mind to chill, they just let you be. No small talk, no pretended kindness, no hustle. Perfection.

Tampat do Aman är omgivet av frodig grönska och erbjuder boende i Kg Tiga Papan, 30 km från Kudat. Boendet erbjuder upphämtning mot en extra kostnad (se det finstilta). Amazing place to stay, fantastic owner, close to wonderfull beaches!
