The lodge offers a continental or buffet breakfast. The setting was like nothing I've experienced before. The view from our balcony of the Duro Valley was like the view from an airplane! The beds were so comfortable! The modern cottage was unique. The pool was clean and beautiful. The complimentary breakfast buffet was superb.

If you would like to discover the area, cycling is possible in the surroundings and the lodge can arrange a bicycle rental service. The most amazing view you can ever imagine. Something words just can't express the feeling. The owners are sweet sweet couple with a lot of good willing.

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. Beautiful place with the best view. The room was big enough, with beautiful bathroom and also bathtub in the room. The bed was very comfortable and again with a fantastic view. There is also a little terrace where you can just sit and sip your glass of wine while enjoying the view of the mountains. Every morning we had a fantastic breakfast with everything you can think of (sweet pastry and cakes, eggs, cheese, hams, fruit, yougurts, bread....). Bruno, the host, is very nice and very helpful. He also recommended us places around which we could visit. We would definitely recommend this accomodation and would love to come back again.

A barbecue is available on site and both hiking and fishing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Located at the end of the road surrounding the beautiful valley, we’ve been delighted by Joachim’s cabin, it’s super confortable and perfect for a few days, and the nature around is just beautiful. Joachim and his wife have been so nice and helpful, it’s difficult to not recommend this place. Thank you again.

Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary is 31 km from the lodge, while Lamego Museum is 30 km from the property. The nearest airport is Viseu, 58 km from Casa do eirô, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Beautiful house, comfortable room with a nice veranda facing the amazing view. A whole house with surroundings to share with the lovely hosts that were simply the best. We were out and about the two days, enough to do in the region. Our stay was way too short! This means we need to come back another time and stay longer. The house is in proper countryside, beautiful mountains and crispy clean air. Thank you so so much Fernando and Cláudia for the hospitality, we felt right at home from the minute we got out of our car. We recommend anyone to come and stay at Casa do eirô, I will guarantee you it will be one of the best holidays you will have.
