This place is a gem! Owners are super friendly. They took care of my luggage prior to check in and after check out. The room was super spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was super comfy. Wi-fi speed was great: I could work from there easily, including video calls. Bathroom was super huge. Shower had great water pressure and hot water. The heater in the bathroom was a bless. Towels were great quality. A small towel for make up remover was provided, which I really appreciated. A fair amount of TV channels was available. Probably the best stay I had in NZ so far. I recommend this place over any backpackers or hostels. It is a short walk from town centre main street, about 5 min, and it's totally worth it. The amount comfort and the kindness you get from the owners and staff combined with the high quality service is beyond the price payed.

Quiet location set back from main road. The unit was spacious with a big bathroom and kitchenette. There was a patio and a designated parking spot. The WiFi was good. The motel is walking distance to things we needed. And the beach was just a two minute walk.
