I learned not to judge a motel from the roadside.. we were shocked how modern and clean this motel room was once we got inside. Having a fishing store in the lobby is a plus for fishermen like myself. The owner could not have been kinder in helping us with our late arrival, and fishing advise. Much appreciated!!! Great value for simple place to stay. Nothing extraordinary but met our expectations and we'd stay there again.

El Mt Dobson Motel ofrece alojamiento independiente con conexión wifi gratis ilimitada junto a un pub y restaurante histórico. Comodidad a unos 25 minutos del lake tekapo, la habitación estaba limpia y con toallas nuevas cada vez que llegábamos la verdad volvería por segunda vez viajamos 2 adultos y 2 niños y además había de todo para cocinar

El Burkes Pass Country Motels está situado en el puerto de montaña Burkes, en la entrada a Mackenzie Country, y goza de una ubicación céntrica para esquiar en Mount Dobson y Roundhill y hacer... We loved the spacious apartment/motel rooms, everything was clean and in good shape, kitchen had everything we needed. Place is probably great to see the stars as well and just a short driving distance from Lake Tekapo. Everyone there was lovely and accommodating and we even got to hand feed the pet lambs and sheep that lived on the property and had a great chat. The dogs and cat were friendly and cuddly as well. For everyone who wants to stay in the Lake Tekapo area and loves animals this is a unique and great value for money stay!
