Absolutely superb! Spotlessly clean. Lovely comfy bed, superfast WiFi. Very well appointed kitchen area. Great shower and toiletries. They provided robes, that we didn't actually use. Best of all was some superb filter coffee. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We arrived early and asked if we could park and wander but our room was already so we were checked in, given really useful advice and then sat in the sun on the deck to unwind after our drive. Highly recommended.

Located in the centre of Nelson only 100 metres from the main shopping area, Palms Motel offers self-contained apartments with full kitchen facilities. It also has an outdoor heated swimming pool. This is just an awesome place. I've not stayed at a better motel. Very nice rooms, very clean, and lots of great attention to details. So glade we booked this place. What a fine!

Arcadia Motel ligger bara 3 minuters promenad från Tahunanui Beach. Här finns en soluppvärmd pool och rum med välutrustade kök. Wi-Fi är gratis. We were lucky to find this at short notice and what a gem. Room was perfect and facilities were spot on. The manager / owner was very friendly and informative for our travels in the South Island.

Waimarie on Riverside Motel & Apartments ligger i hjärtat av Nelsons centrum, 500 meter från Trafalgar Park. Både WiFi och gästparkering ingår utan extra kostnad. Rummen har platt-TV. A very comfortable stay in a central but quiet location operated by a very pleasant and helpful host.

Situated in central Nelson, opposite Trafalgar Park, Kings Gate Motel has free WiFi, a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. The apartment was very clean. There was everything in it that is needed ( apart from a bottle opener). Just a tiny detail. The laundry was very handy and there are clothes lines out the back for visitors use. The pool area looked great . It is a leisurely 10 min walk into the town which is very charming.

Riverlodge Motel ligger i Nelson, 6 minuters promenad från Trafalgar Park, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering och en trädgård. We were given a free upgrade to an access room on the ground floor. Huge rooms and very well appointed. Bathroom had spa bath. Kitchen had everything and a full sized fridge. Beds were super comfy and I even liked the pillows :) Great location for walking along the river or up to the "Centre of NZ" as well as several other walks. 5 minutes to Countdown. Didn't actually walk into the city centre, but I know it was close as was the Suter Gallery and Queens Gardens. Fabulous hotel, great location.
