Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s Bay. It is a 16-minute walk from Mt Vernon Akaroa. Check in was easy; staff very friendly and accommodating. The bed was super comfortable and the linen was great quality. Little touches like the way the bed was dressed made such a difference. The couch was also very comfortable and the property clearly takes its commitment to cleaning very seriously. The toiletries in the bathroom were also of a great quality; presenting them in the pump packs is so much nicer than in the tiny squeeze packs. Better fro the environment too; less waste. The towels in the bathroom were soft and fluffy and hadn't been boiled to within an inch of their lives. All of this coupled with a lovely view of the water made this hotel a surprise packet; such good value for our 2 night getaway.

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. There is free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. Great location, great view. The reception is super helpful and friendly. Housekeeping was offered daily, we refused some as we did not need to top up towels or teabags Love the wonderful motel.

Just 4 minutes’ drive from Lake Wanaka, the property features free WiFi and barbecue facilities. Shona was delightful and the chalet and property were beautiful and quiet. Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. Set on 2 acres of gardens featuring native trees, tulips, roses and fruit trees, the spacious grounds include a covered BBQ area with picnic tables. Great location, close to the center and hiking trails. Nice and informative receptionist recommended us restaurants with delicious food. The hot tub experience was very comfortable as well.

The self-catering apartments also include free unlimited WiFi, and a Smart TV. we loved this unit, it was bright, beautifully styled and very welcoming, extremely comfortable. the kitchen was very well equiped and a fantastic location. , so close to restaurants and shops. the lady on reception was so lovely and informative. we wished we could have stayed longer. just loved this property! would highly recommend it and will definitely stay there again
