It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

We left the hotel feeling like we were visiting family. ❤️ The breakfast selection was very good, tasty and served to the table in the cosy ambient of the rose garden. The food choice was very diversified, with fresh vegetables and fruits and in the right amount.

The suite was spacious and designed in a restrained style befitting the past of the building that was used as a monastery. The corridors and the dining room are very beautiful. The location is very beautiful and it is a special experience to be there.

Room was big and clean the shower was amazing. I think is the first one that I've seen that they really put thought into it. Quiet, free parking. In the summer time I believe it is a wonderful place. Ahhh....and I shouldn't forget about the wine. That is a wine area for Austria.
