The room was perfect, the pool was amazing with perfect temperature water. The cocktails at the pool bar where from high quality, Eder and Ray from the poolbar surprised me every time with a new cocktail and where sooo friendly for my 5 year old Son. The housekeeping cleaned our room every day and made sure that we had everything we need! The security guard at the elevators on the 12th floor made fun with our Son everytime, this was appreciated.

The team of this hotel is awesome. Giulio, Javier, Kati.... They try to help you in any kind of issue. They all made our stay the best in cartagena. They have a very nice roof top terrace and a jaccuzi. You can have your breakfast on the terrace if you want. There are Cocteles 2 for 1 all the time. I stayed with a friend and we can recommend the room Las Palmas (right on the top where the terrace is) and media lunia which has a little balcony. Muchas gracias to all of you!!!!

Boasting a charming terrace with a pool, Hotel Balovento is set in a modern building in the Bocagrande neighborhood, just 2 blocks from the beach. Free WiFi and parking are available. After seeing hotels all around the world and in Colombia this hotel just gets it. They understand what is important to their guests. Great value to money. If I ever come Cartagena again I would stay here.

The location is perfect for easy access to the airport, and the owner and her staff were just wonderful. She even arranged for a 6:30am breakfast and drove us to the airport! She also upgraded us to a room with a balcony. The kindness and service we experienced exceeded our expectations, especially in view of the reasonable room rate. We’ll be back!
