This was our first time staying at Sonesta and it surprised us. Breakfast was great, sometimes the area was full but it was the Holy Week so the hotel was full, anyway the attention was great and it improve the experience. The rooms are very comfortable, we got two rooms one double and one queen, beds were so comfortable we could really rest and enjoy these days off. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant, I was very curious and once I heard it wasn't great but in fact it was delicious. If you stay here enjoy the facilities.

Barichara is a beautiful town, where people are friendly, stunning views at every turn, and tranquility is truly practiced. I highly recommend to those interested in smaller + more intimate stays, especially for travelers who need a break from the "hectic-ness" of backpacking. I also recommend longer stays rather than 1/2 nights, if you have the time to slow down in your itinerary. Above all, Ms. Celina is a bright light at Principito and provides amazing hospitality. The hotel is immaculately clean as Ms. Celina takes great pride in the beauty and upkeep of the hotel. Bathrooms, rooms, and garden always being tended to. Daily breakfasts were delicious and full of care. I enjoyed being around her and Principito wouldn't be the same without her. Amazing!

Busy city but the place to get organized in Santander. Lots of nice hotels and restaurants great prices. Not the easiest city to get around but Dizen of inexpensive cabs on every corner. Check out the organized central market. No one comes here but its one of the least expensive cities in Colombia and the people are great.

The Booking.com app turned up this gem of a hotel in Barrancabermeja, where I enjoyed a very pleasant night. Nothing, we just needed to stay there because of the night time of arrival, otherwise I'd rather book somewhere else. They even called the room at midnight because they needed the main guest's name when I checked in at the reception at 7 pm. So unpleasant. Staff is drinking beers at the reception. Nothing professional.
