Situated in Sarapiquí, 1 km from La Selva Biological Station main area, the lodge has a garden and a shared lounge at the dining hall, as well as free WiFi. Our first stop in Costa Rica. We were amazed by the abundance of birds and by the beautiful natural setting. The tour guides were excellent and we learned a lot from them. Other staff were very helpful. The food was good there as well.

Fishing can be enjoyed nearby. there is a good chef for a proper meal, and the breakfast is also perfect. the price-quality is good. this is a very good lodge to stay for backpackers!

Featuring an indoor pool and a spa that offers massage and yoga, Finca Paraiso Mountain Retreat near San Jose Airport is located in El Roble, Heredia. Our hosts (Alejandra, Ken and Daniel) were lovely, we felt extremely welcome and they helped us organize activities and excursions, and they gave us advice on car rentals before we arrived. In general, the level of hospitality was excellent and we felt very welcome and taken care of. The multi-course breakfast was large and delicious, with an amazing view and extremely attentive service. The gardens and the rest of the property were a masterpiece and we spent some time exploring and hanging out on a hammock next to the woods, which was very peaceful.

Located only 8 minutes’ drive from the Juan Santamaria International Airport, this executive hotel offers free Wi-Fi access throughout and sun terraces around the outdoor pool. Perfect for a short stay to or from airport. Staff was so kind, airport pick up worked perfectly, pool was right outside our door and breakfast was great. Best pancakes ever! And sweet cats to greet us. We stayed 1 night only.

Situated in Heredia, 10 km from Juan Santamaria International Airport, Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn features accommodation with a farm to table restaurant, spring-fed hillside infinity... This place was amazing. The workers were very friendly and attentive, and the resort itself is beautiful. They also do an amazing job with the landscaping, so you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle. The food was great and we loved the coffee hour and banana bread! We also did the coffee farm tour, which was amazing! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and talked a lot about their sustainable farming practices.

Great Location for the Parks. The hotel was well put together taking everything into condsideartion. Good swimming pool. Great Breakfast. Great for birdwatching. We liked it so much we extended our stay.
