Nos gustaría presentarles a The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate, un lugar decadente donde los colores chocan y se capturan las imaginaciones. We stayed at a brand new hotel called The Tempus on the Charlton Hall Estate. Charlton Hall is now only run as a wedding venue. The Tempus is a beautiful hotel with state of the art technology for controlling room lights, temperature in the room, etc. The decor is colourful and flamboyant with a fun vibe and tastefully done. The dining room is cheerful and the bar cozy. The food was excellent. There was also plenty of parking, a necessity as it is out in the country. I would highly recommend a stay at The Tempus.

Beaumont Hotel is situated in the heart of the market town of Hexham, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the rail station. We asked for a large bed,a bath ,a view, and to book us for 3 main meals.The room was ideal,a table and seating area,to set up treats for Christmas,very quiet on a night,which was great.The food in the resteraunt was exceptional quality.The staff were polite and efficient and productive.We would definitely tell our friends of this gem.

The attention to every single detail was exquisite. I’m a professional organizer. My business is details. I’ve never seen anything like this. Everything - even the lights on the floor that automatically come on when you walk into the bathroom - was planned perfectly when this former convent was remodeled to make a sacred space for all its guests. There was even framed sheet music in the halls to, I assume, pay homage to the beautiful music that must’ve once graced the hallways. The staff was so warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was like something out of a Veranda magazine spread. The breakfast was delicious. At every turn in the hotel and the room itself, we were met with a delightful and unexpected experience. Who puts this much thought into a public space? The Cookie Jar does. You made our once-in-a-lifetime trip unforgettable.

El Castillo de Alnwick es precioso, los jardines botánicos muy bonitos. El resto... Bueno, no hay mucho más por ver. Como centro de operaciones para visitar Northumberland, toda la zona noreste de Inglaterra, no está mal, pero la oferta turística del pueblo es limitada. La comida espeluznante, pero para el paladar mediterraneo ya es lo que te esperas de las islas británicas.
