Ameen also runs a camel safari tour company and I took a nice overnight camel tour with him, including tasty food and sleeping under the stars in the dessert. He even offered a room to get some rest and refresh after the tour, since I already checked out.

Cared and furnished with a lot of love. super nice and clean rooms. a very nice host and very friendly staff. the location is very relaxing and quiet. It's a 10 minute walk to the fort - you can easily walk the route (also in the evening when its dark) or take a tuktuk at any time for little money. wonderful terrace and great food in the hotel restaurant (breakfast as well as lunch and dinner). We even received a free room upgrade, thank you very much! we can highly recommend the hotel, we had a wonderful stay.

Als solo reiziger heb ik twee keer verbleven in Ikaki Niwas, gedurende mijn reis door Rajasthan. Het hotel ligt in een afgesloten wijk met klein park er naast, dus super rustig gelegen. Ik voelde me er gelijk thuis, mede door de super aardige hoteleigenaar en warme, historische inrichting. De faciliteiten zijn goed, het eten is heerlijk, het bed is fijn, airco en warme douche werken top, kamers zijn schoon, mooi dakterras, goed internet. Zeer aan te raden!

This is our third stay at Lake Pichola Hotel. The location is fantastic, facilities lovely, staff very friendly, breakfast is very good. We stayed in a suite which was spacious with a great view an indoor swing, and a comfy seating area. Love this hotel and will be back for sure!

After a series of overpriced supposedly luxury hotels in India this was the first one that really got it right that wasn't crazy expensive. Place was wonderfully clean, luxuriously decorated (!), room was great, shower was at least very good, beds were very clean, towels good, bathroom spacious, breakfast and restaurant was excellent, second best of the whole trip of ~10 hotels, nice pool and rooftop, awesome courtyard. MRG group seems to "get it" compared to a whole series of properties that just don't seem to understand what they are getting wrong. I mean, they had a guy dusting the lamp shades one by one with a cloth! Stay here!
