Boasting a peaceful location and lake views, Casa Fantini - Lake Time is a boutique hotel on the shores of Lake Orta, in Pella. We really enjoyed the steam shower in the bathroom and the luxe toiletries. The pool doesn’t have a lake view, but is quiet and pretty. The breakfast is exceptional.

Hotel La Bussola is set in a peaceful location on the promontory of Orta San Giulio, overlooking Lago d'Orta and San Giulio Island. It features a garden with swimming pool. Perfect location with absolutely magnificent view of the lake. Very good dining on the terrace, with daily menu specials which were very well composed. Staff was polite and helpful. This was the second time we have been to Hotel La Bussola, and we will surely return the next time we travel to Lago d’Orta.

What we greatly appreciated the most, however, were the courtesy and hospitality of the owner: a gracious and helpful sculptor and art teacher whose family has owned the property for generations.
