Kingsgate Hotel Paihia offers a memorable waterfront location, just 100 metres from Paihia wharf. The hotel offers views across the Bays brilliant blue sea and out to Russell. Facilities were as published, even though in mid of upgrading. Staffs were super friendly.

Boasting a bar and a restaurant, Ahipara Bay Motel is situated in Ahipara and features panoramic views up 90 Mile Beach. Staff were great with my indecisive arrival and departure times... amazing after I left and realized I'd left something behind. Have already booked another getaway!

Roomy,, peaceful. Beautiful property, has fruit trees and a good sized lawn to relax in. Keith the manager was very helpful.

Offering free WiFi, a salt water outdoor pool and a restaurant, Quality Hotel Oceans Tutukaka is located in Tutukaka. Guests can unwind with a drink at the bar. The property offers free parking. Location by the marina. Excellent, spacious room, new furniture, clean, quiet, good shower. AC was working well. Good selection of programs on TV including major US news channels. Good wifi. Good restaurant at the ground floor, with patio. Generally a quiet, peaceful place to unwind and relax.

Just 2 minutes’ drive from Whangarei Airport, Comfort Hotel Flames Whangarei features a swimming pool, tropical gardens and a restaurant. Most rooms have harbour views. Guests enjoy free WiFi. Everything about this accommodation is just perfect, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, from the entrance, the lovely little bar, the beautiful large dining area, the outside open lounging area to the very large, very comfortable rooms. We were in an upstairs room, with a very comfortable king size bed, desk area, small table and chairs, gleaming bathroom with lovely bath and shower over plus very comfortable outside private deck with table and chairs looking out to the magnificent view. We dined in the lovely dining room, chose fish and lamb for our mains, both cooked to perfection. We can't speak highly enough of this accommodation and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Whangarei.

Lupton Lodge features free gourmet breakfast and free Wi-Fi for all accommodation. Each luxurious room provides guests with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and bathrobes. Incredibly friendly host! Room was spacious and clean with beautiful natural view. Hot breakfast was much appreciated. Would recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

Paihia Beach Resort & Spa offers luxury boutique accommodation just 20 metres from picturesque Te Tii beach. I loved how friendly the staff were. The facilities were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.
