Everything was just great! We stayed in the two bedrooms appartment. It is clean (!), has well equipped kitchen (big fridge, microwave, oven, nespresso Maschine, etc.), spacious bathroom. More than enough space for the family of 4 with a lot of bags. Breakfast was delicious - you can choose from the menu - French toast was just great! Service was superb! Thanks a lot to the whole team! Very child friendly - at breakfast our son immediately got coloring book and origami set. Location is also great - close to the downtown, but in a quiet corner near the lake. A lot of restaurants right nearby and big supermarket just across the road. Nothing more to wish for!

Heartland Ambassador Hotel Hamilton is centrally located in Hamilton, 10 minutes’ walk from Waikato Stadium. Guests enjoy an outdoor swimming pool, BBQ facilities, and a hot tub. Just a great place to stay , the room was fantastic and the location great for the centre of Hamilton

Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. beautiful views, comfortable bed and beddings were just right, excellent service and beautiful food and they were very flexible allowing us to stay long in the morning while we waited for the rain to stop before leaving the motel to start our hike. the community kitchen was comfortable and it had everything that we need to use. the toilets were so clean and showers just right.

Suncourt Hotel & Conference Centre offers spectacular views of Lake Taupo and the volcanoes of Tongariro National Park. Room had everything you need for a few day stay. Location was perfect with a quick walk to heaps of shops and restaurants. Right opposite the lake. Friendly staff. Free car parking. Free WIFI. Laundry room Available. The best thing was pulling up into the car park after a few hours of driving with our toddler, to see the trampoline and swing-set - he was entertained for hours. We will be back for sure.

Ventura Inn & Suites is located in Hamilton’s CBD and offers comfortable and affordable accommodation. Choose from studio rooms or apartment-style suites, with extra space and kitchen facilities. Really nice and clean, friendly staff, decent breakfast. Water available for free in a water cooler. Room was quite nice as well, got the suite and it had a small kitchen and was very comfortable. Good location as well.

Hilton Lake Taupo includes free pool and gym access and features views over Lake Taupo and is just minutes away from the town centre. It is a 15-minute drive from Taupo Airport. Excellent Hilton, lovely large room with lake view, great modern outdoor pool and excellent choice and quality of food in hotel restaurant. Staff were always very very courteous.

This Millennium Hotel and Resort is located right on the edge of Lake Taupo. It offers luxury accommodation and facilities that include a heated pool, sauna, gym and tennis court. Everything was so clean, the staff was amazing and the food was delicious.

Ibis Hamilton is situated on the banks of the Waikato River, in the city centre. It is 10 km from Hamilton International Airport. Hobbiton Movie Set & Farms Tours is 40 minutes' drive away. Great views overlooking the river from our room and the lounge and dining area. Super friendly staff
