Boa Nova Hostel in Graciosa provides accommodation with a shared lounge equipped with TV, fully equipped kitchen and a patio. Boa Nova Hostel offers some units with sea views and balcony. I just stayed for one night but it was definitely one of the best hostel experiences I had as it didn’t feel like a hostel. Loved the interior design of the hostel, everything is quite new, modern, stylish and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, there’s free coffee and tea all day. There is a big nice outdoor area.

It is run by a lovely family who are excellent hosts. There is a nice patio looking at their beautiful garden where you can eat. It is just a short walk to the swimming spots, restaurants and supermarket.

Out the door just to the right and you coups walk up the Caldeira. Fantastic garden with view at Sao Jorge, Pico (when the weather is clear) and Faial. And breakfast was the perfect start of the day. The location was easily accessed and on a quieter part of the island. Although still within a short walk of a supermarket and taxi stands. The grounds and views are incredible. The cottages are newly renovated and in excellent upkeep. The location receives ocean breezes and was very comfortable during the time of our stay. The arrangement of the cottages provides for ample privacy. Kitchen facilities and refrigerator are a plus. Our hosts were kind and made us feel welcome from the start, checked in on us while not being intrusive.
