Marutham Village Resort in Mamallapuram is an absolute gem! This traditional Tamil village-themed resort offers an unforgettable experience that seamlessly blends rural charm with modern comforts. From the enchanting bullock cart rides to the captivating cultural programs like Karakaattam, every moment here is a journey into the heart of Tamil culture. The cow farm, pumpset shower, and warm hospitality of the staff all contribute to the authenticity and warmth of the stay. My 1.5-day visit was far too short to fully savor everything this resort has to offer, and I'm already planning my return for a longer stay.
