This was the best place I stayed in Sri Lanka. The showers were hot and good pressure, brand new air conditioning, big room with comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and went out their way for me. The food was exceptional. And to step outside and be on the beach in seconds was pure heaven 😍

The location of this resort is just perfect. Great private stretch of the beach is available here. The property itself is very tastefully designed. You can hear the sound of the waves crashing all through the day from your room. The Sri Lankan curries made here are the best we had in all of Sri Lanka. Mr. Kumara was a great host and a very warm person. Definitely recommend on staying here.

We can’t say a bad word about our stay with Mawella Beach Resort. We throughly enjoyed our stay there over Christmas with our family. Big spaces rooms that were nicely kept and cleaned for us daily. The staff there were amazing and really did look after us. Set on the most beautiful secluded beach. We wish had stayed longer. Was our most enjoyable stay on our vacation. Thanks so much Mawella Beach Resort. We hope to come back and visit again soon!
