Overlooking the magnificent turquoise waters of a private beach, Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora boasts luxurious over-water bungalows and beachfront villas with views of Mount Otemanu. After an invigorating workout in the open-air fitness centre, you can enjoy an afternoon of pampering at the waterfront day spa.

This is definitely the best hotel in Bora Bora. We loved everything about our stay. If you can afford this hotel, don't bother with any other, you will have the best experience here. Our villa was finished with highest quality products and perfect place for honeymoon. Especially the bathtub with the view of the ocean is something I will happily remember. The hotel is perfect to spot celebrities and hollywood stars. The beach and pool are just beautiful and like from a fantasy, it's so beautiful that feels unreal. Also the gym is a dream vome true, you run in the direction of the ocean. If you think of Bora Bora splendor, this hotel is really what you have in mind.

Featuring a private white sand beach which is exclusive to guests, this luxury resort offers beachfront accommodation on Matira Point. Guests can stay in unique bungalows positioned over the water.

Guests at InterContinental Le Moana Resort Bora Bora can enjoy a wide selection of water sports activities including snorkelling and kayaking.

The employees are really friendly, the food and beverages prices are very fair (you find pretty much the same prices in other restaurants nearby but with less quality in some of them). The hotel manager goes every morning to speak to guests and gather some feedback. She is also really nice and professional. The beach is amazing and we had some sharks and mantas below our bungalow (coming around 6-7 am). There is something I would like to point out as a major highlight: they offer an exchange room. This is specially important if you have an afternoon flight or evening flight but you still want to enjoy the day in Bora Bora. After the checkout at 11:00 you can use the pool and the beach and then use that room to shower and prepare yourself before leaving.

Located on the beach at Motu Tevairoa, Pearl Beach Resort & Spa Bora Bora features 2 boutiques, a very large outdoor swimming pool, diving centre and flood-lit tennis court. Indulgent beauty treatments are on offer at Tavai Spa. The resort is 10 minutes’ by private boat from Motu Mute Airport.

We loved how you could walk to the coral gardens to snorkel. The bedroom, bathroom, and deck were a very good size. The property was very well maintained and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Our bungalow #201 was in a very good location. Young man at concierge was very helpful in booking an excursion.

Le Maitai Polynesia is situated in the south of Bora Bora on Matira Point Beach. Guests have a choice between rooms with garden or lagoon views, and bungalows with direct beach access or over the water.

Excellent, big room, with a fridge and nice huge balcony. Tropical landscaping all around. Local hotel beach (on lagoon) right across the road, restaurant on site where you can eat on the beach. Excellent breakfast! The hotel provided transportation to/from Vaitape. Matira beach is walkable. A small store is walkable. Touring/snorkelling in the lagoon and nearby ocean are exceptional! Hotel has their own small pier, which is great to do some stargazing, enjoying the amazing trade winds (it faces roughly east) and the lagoon/motu views.

We rented an overwater bungalow. There are 3 at this property. There were steps going into the water and our balcony hung over the water. We loved being able to swim right off the deck and enjoy sunsets here. We liked the small fridge, the kettle so we could make tea/coffee and the dishes. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner.

Great location, walkable distance to Matira beach, shops and restaurants. Resort grounds are well kept by staff, beach is small but very nice - amazing snorkelling just off the beach! Rooms are cleaned well, cleaning and upkeep staff are attentive.

We stayed in one of the over the water bungalows for one night. At $1600 CAD, it was a splurge, to say the least. Everyone and everything we encountered there was spot on. We went for their happy hour which consisted of drinks and some food items. The pool area was lovely, and there weren't even any mosquitos. The wifi worked great - you cannot say this about other resorts on the island, so this in itself is a great feature. Service was friendly and prompt.

Amazing view. Comfortable 2 bedroom Villa with a pool. Very good value for money. Had a good chat with the owner, who is a sommelier. Unfortunately, we took only one night but wanted to come back for more. Even if you can afford to stay in hi end resorts, staying 2-3 nights at Sunset Villa will make a lot of sense to explore Bora Bora main island.

The overwater bungalow was by far the best and nicest one of our honeymoon in French Polynesia. The entire hotel property is spotless. The views -from everywhere you look- are stunning. It feels like a 5-star resort, way more than other 5-star resorts on the islands.

Amazing overwater bungalow at a more reasonable price than most resorts offering this type of accommodation. The lagoon is wonderful and a great snorker spot is very close by. Bungalow and bed comfy, small corals below some suits are a great add-on. The hotel provides snorkelling tools and kayaks/SUPs to borrow. The hotel is located on the island which makes it easier to move around and be more independent, without having to pay the hefty boat trips back and forth the hotels on the motus and the islands.
