My second stay in this hotel. I was greeted at the reception with "welcome back" and had a hand written greeting card with a bowl of fresh fruit and small gifts at my room. Thank you, that was very touching 🥰 Most excellent breakfast. There were so many choices and all were excellent. I was always looking forward to the breakfast. Very attentive staff. Knowing my preference, a table by the window overlooking the beach was always offered to me. Dinner buffet is worth an extra mention. Truly fantastic selection of excellent seafood including sashimi prepared by a chef. Looking forward to experiencing it again. The beach is right outside the hotel. Perfect for a walk along it or a swim. Thank you for yet another memorable stay.

Offering leisure facilities, Shangri-La Guangzhou features commanding views of the Pearl River and beautifully landscaped grounds. Fantastic location for Canton Fair. Very good service(Mona and Joy and restaurant staff!) fruit plate jn the mornings (during the fair), plenty of water, free use of umbrella. Exceptional selection for buffet. RIBS restaurant is excellent.
