The property is owned and operated by a family, and they go above and beyond for service. Very good communication though they only know Mandarin, so have a translator app available if needed. When we arrived the taxi took us to the wrong location, we called owners and they came to pick us up right away. We stayed in one of the treehouses. Feels like you are in the middle of bamboo forest, with very pleasant nature sounds and running water. AC available in the bedroom runs better than any other Hotel we’ve been in in China. Even though full glass walls, has natural growth for privacy plus curtains in the bedroom. For dining they have their own onsite restaurant, and can eat in their dining room as well as outside on a couple tables. Dishes are typical for the region, and are at standard prices (no price gouging since there are not other options nearby) and additionally very well done and tasty beyond average. There is a wash machine onsite, no dryer. With humidity need to hang clothing out to dry outside in the sun or may not fully dry indoors. We are very pleased with the trip, the location (4.5km from middle ZhangJiaJie park entrance), customer service, accommodations and friendliness. If we ever make our way back to ZhangJiaJie we will be staying here again.

The pride Valley 5 Lodge takes in providing outstanding service is evident, and any queries or requests were met with a smile, making us feel truly valued. They planned our itinerary for the visits to the park and were absolutely helpful in suggesting other activities. Our family of 4 stayed in the Family Suite, a spacious and tastefully decorated haven. The heated floors and hot bath were perfect for the winter season, and the nightly fireplace setup added a beautifully cozy touch to our evenings. The daily activities provided by Valley 5 Lodge were a highlight. From a delightful local candy-making session to arts and crafts for the kids, there was something for everyone. Our children had a blast, and the best part was they got to bring home their creations. The lodge's location on the hills offered a breathtaking view of the Valley, a picturesque sight that greeted us each morning at breakfast. Speaking of which, while the breakfast was simple, it was more than adequate, and the stunning backdrop made every meal special. In conclusion, I highly recommend Valley 5 Lodge for a memorable and enjoyable stay. I'm already looking forward to returning, perhaps during the summer season, to experience the exceptional hospitality once again. Tianmen Mout Tian's Resort is a famous hotel in Zhang Jiajie and has great reputaion from national and foreign customers. It takes a convinient location. The service is very friendly and kind . The food is good and reasonable price

My stay was excellent. The room exceeded my expectations, in features and size. It was quiet and elegant. The breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious. The staff tried hard and was very helpful, even though I did not speak Chinese. I used the laundry and the massage service, and both were excellent. I would choose to stay here again. The overall hotel was nicer than the listing presented.
