The piano bar, Le Birdie, presents a musical setting for a relaxing drink near the fireplace. There is also a 4000m² children's resort with indoor and outdoor activities, which is free for all guests aged 3 years and over. The location of Hotel Ermitage is perfect with glorious views of the Lac Leman / Lake Garda. The Deluxe lake view room was beautiful, well appointed with very comfortable large bed, excellent views of the garden and lake beyond, from a loggia which had enough room for chair and desk. My mother requested an upgrade at her own cost and her Castle Room was just wonderful, spacious with excellent amenities, a seating area which doubled up as a lounge area and a Loggia and separate spacious balcony area - very much worth the additional cost. There was very much attention to detail, such as beautiful furnishings and little details such as eco coffee pods for the machine, which we very much appreciated. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely gorgeous and linked to the grounds of the sister hotel, The Hotel Royale. The Ermitage is beautiful hotel, very quite, beautifully decorated and the dining experience very much what we would expect from a quality French restaurant. None of this would mean anything without the wonderful hospitality of the staff. All individual staff members had a lovely approach, with typical French manners, discreet and gracious service throughout. In particular, the gentleman who assisted us with room change for my mother was particularly attentive and supportive with our needs as was the young woman serving us in the restaurant on Sunday evening. However all members of staff were wonderful and attentive. Absolutely, faultless service throughout. We cannot wait to return to the Hotel Ermitage and Evian and thank you so much for making my Mother's birthday so special. With all due apologies for my school girl French - Merci beaucoup pour votre merveilleuse hospitalité.

It was a one night stay and we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The food, drinks and overall feeling was understated luxury. The staff were excellent - efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The reception manager was exceptional. We would definitely recommend and return!

It was easy to book at last minute. It had 24h reception desk and parking (which you need to pay, but it’s all secured). We were travelling to Avoriaz ski resort and needed only one night stay. Rooms are small, but clean and for one night stay it was perfect. We didn’t eat breakfast there, so can’t comment on this.

I've chosen this hotel for location-next door to the railway station. It's convinient if you go to 1day trip every day. Though the building and furniture is quite old, the room is clean, linen is fresh. Tea, fridge, slippers, bath robe are in the room. This is not a luxury hotel but.there is no reason to expect it.

This is a good hotel. We enjoyed staying there. The room was compact but large enough for our needs. Its was very clean neat and tidy. Its about 15 mins walk from the lake but the price reflects this. If you want luxury look elsewhere but this hotel offers good value for money.

Amazing resort. The room was very clean and the services were spectacular. The spa is also very good and the facilities were very clean. The staff are very friendly and professional. The restaurants are very good as well. Parking is available.

The room was basic but comfortable, in the same way the bathroom was functional. This is not a luxury hotel but it's perfect for one or two nights if you are looking to explore the city. The reception staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, we asked for advise where to go to best see the city and we had the best information possible
