Feels like a hidden gem and private paradise. Great dive shop with charismatic guides, nice boat, sufficient equipment. Great to wake up to a view of Mt Kinabalu and all the food was really lovely home cooking and tasted great. It felt like living in a little community for a couple of days :)

The Magellan Sutera Resort està situat a Kota Kinabalu, a poca distància del port esportiu i del club de camp i de golf de Sutera Harbour. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a hotel! They upgraded our room to a suite and it was absolutely gorgeous! Fabulous view and staff too. Im already planning when we can go back!

Customer service, cleanliness, room view, breakfast buffet, water slides and ability to allow the hotel to accommodate so I could truly relax and be taken care of. Nearby islands were only 10 mins away with a choice of 3. Beautiful snorkelling. The spa was mind blowing. The buffet extensive! The slides for my little boy were perfect. The customer service was exceptional. The way they fixed any issues was very good. We had brown water in our bathtub for a couple of hours and the staff gave us a late 6pm check out which tied in perfectly with leaving on a huge flying itinerary that night. Just what we needed. Plus, due to getting phone calls at 2am twice from the staff accidentally, the team were so stressed by it, and then offered a free Seafood buffet on the Saturday night. Definitely will be back.
