This family-run estate spread across 20-acres offers accommodation in Masinagudi at the foothills of the Nilgiris. Main road safari and birding walk with highly knowledgeable and courteous guide Mr Rajesh was incomparable and was delightful. We had excellent sighting everyday. Food preparations and non-repeating veg and non-veg menu was tempting and added with excellent weather, resulted in overeating for all of us. Entire staff was highly cooperative and always smiling, in spite of language problem. We would love to visit the place again

Beautiful and serene property designed in the traditional style of Tamil architecture. The gardens are amazing and the peacocks add a colorful but noisy additional touch! The staff are very warm and friendly and quick to respond to requests. The food is also quite delicious - fresh organic fruit and veggies. They make the food only after you order so it takes a while but is worth the wait. We couldn’t try the Ayurvedic treatments as our schedule was very tight but as we plan to come back that’s ok. The quaint tea kadai was a lovely experience . We’d say this is a must stay place if you come to Kumbakonam!

My recent stay at Gsilver Slate was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff. The hotel's contemporary design and elegant ambiance immediately impressed me. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with modern amenities. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel, from the decor to the service, was remarkable. Overall, Gsilver Slate provided me with a memorable and enjoyable stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.
