Tre notti in questo meraviglioso resort nella giungla posizionato di fronte a Lion Rock e a Pirudangala ( il sito rende perfettamente l’idea), in un sito perfetto per il birdwatching . Abbiamo alloggiato nell’elegante bungalow (suite).Nessuna zanzara , nonostante le mini oasi di produzione del loro riso (che si può gustare al ristorante). Colazione sia tradizionale che Sri Lanka - un pasto -. Cene perfette, tutto freschissimo e ben presentato. Personale professionale e molto attento. Organizzano tours su richiesta.Torneremo sicuramente, mi manca già!

The area where the huts are located is just incredible. Looks like in the jungle :) The huts are also super nice! The owner of the resort is a very welcoming person and will do his best to accommodate any wishes. Absolutely loved this place and recommend to anyone.

The exceptionally nice staff went above and beyond, notably shipping an item we left behind to Colombo. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

Dilshan and his brother are lovely hosts. Always available to satisfy any request and full of useful advice. Dilshan is also a great cook! Near the structure there is magnificent countryside and a little further on the superb cave temple.

Immerso in una lussureggiante vegetazione tropicale proprio davanti alla roccia di Sigiriya, l'Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection vanta una piscina all'aperto, un centro fitness, 4 punti ristoro... The staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. They anticipated our requests and checked in on how our day was at dinner and whether we needed anything. I have stayed at some bigger name hotels whose staff have not done this, meaning we have had to call reception or make a trip to reception to organise trips or request something for the room etc. Not the case at Aliya. We organised our entire Pidurangla climb at the dinner table between courses with their helpful staff who gave us tips and organised transport for us. The pool was beautiful. The grounds are extensive and so peaceful. There are nature trails and pottery to try. The food was great for all meals with plenty of choice. The room was large enough for the three of us. Only thing that was missing was an iron and ironing board but I am sure we could have requested from reception. Overall a stay that exceeded our expectations and a hotel that looks better in real life than in photos! Would definitely recommend and stay again!
