Located 1,500 metres above sea level, Cameron Highlands Resort - Small Luxury Hotels of the World offers accommodations in a colonial building amidst fresh mountain air and cool temperatures. The welcome, the friendly and attentive staff, even the cleaning staff left us a lovely little note. An old colonial building with spacious, comfortable and well appointed rooms, and the views over the golf course were pleasant. Our strawberry spa massage treatment really was exceptional. Breakfast was all very tasty, although, we thought that you could only order one option from the menu on the first morning, but you can actually order multiple items: The pancakes were delicious, as was the porridge. We also ate a steamboat dish there one evening, as it was raining, which was an interesting experience. And the high (afternoon) tea was also nice.

There's a baby tub too. The host is very thoughtful for family needs. Kitchen utensils are complete & towels n linen are clean. The location is 5mins walk to Kea farm.

A charming country house inspired by English heritage, The Lakehouse features wooden ceiling beams and four-poster beds. Sitting on a hill in Cameron Highlands, the hotel offers guided jungle treks. An extraordinary place. In my opinion, Cameron highlands towns are not the place where you can see something interesting. Therefore, the fact that this hotel is far from them is not at all its disadvantage. True, the lake is not very beautiful and is not a suitable place for sightseeing or walks, but the overall view from the hotel is impressive. There is a jungle trail right next to the hotel. This was the most challenging jungle trail of our trip. Just 1.5 km, any experience. I do not recommend it to anyone with mobility issues and it is better not to go with children. If you like adventure - definitely go. We were upgraded to the Foster Suite - it was wow, wow, wow. But you have to climb the up to the hill. We tried the hotel's steam boat for dinner - we really liked it. Breakfast was also good and varied.
