Plus the breakfast is great!! We booked the 10bedroom dorm but each got our own room with 3 beds. We were able to leave our stuff in the room (unpaid) overnight whilst we did the 2day1night jungle trek. Great staff!

Located in Taman Negara – Pahang’s rainforest sanctuary, Mutiara Taman Negara features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, offering Tembeling River or jungle views. It has a restaurant and provides a wide range of adventure activities. Free WiFi is offered at the restaurant. It is difficult to briefly describe the possibilities this accommodation offers. The facility is very large and is located on the "right" side of the river. Numerous hiking trails leave from here, tours can be booked, and there is always someone there to ask questions. It is a paradise for anyone who wants to connect with nature. Regarding the price-performance ratio: On the one hand, it is a quite expensive accommodation by Malaysian standards. On the other hand, you have to keep in mind that it is a huge logistical effort to get everything necessary to accommodate and feed tourists to the other side of the river. The same applies to water and sewer pipes. There is plenty of staff, everyone is super nice, the whole facility is constantly maintained. So you have to look at it as a whole, and given that I can live comfortably on the edge of a primary forest, it's worth every penny. There was only one big disadvantage: My stay was too short;-)! I would like to come back, but for longer. A very powerful flashlight for night walks is recommended.

At the resort, each room has a balcony. AsiaCamp Taman Negara Resort features some rooms with mountain views, and rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. I got upgraded because the dorms were under renovation. The double room was very comfortable, even better for that price. The owners were very friendly, I got to eat with them in the evening.
