Swimming pool is amazing and clean! Plus the breakfast is great!! We booked the 10bedroom dorm but each got our own room with 3 beds. We were able to leave our stuff in the room (unpaid) overnight whilst we did the 2day1night jungle trek. Great staff!

O Mutiara Taman Negara situa-se em Taman Negara - o santuário da floresta tropical de Pahang, onde disponibiliza acomodações com ar condicionado, um terraço e vista para o Rio Tembeling ou a selva. It is difficult to briefly describe the possibilities this accommodation offers. The facility is very large and is located on the "right" side of the river. Numerous hiking trails leave from here, tours can be booked, and there is always someone there to ask questions. It is a paradise for anyone who wants to connect with nature. Regarding the price-performance ratio: On the one hand, it is a quite expensive accommodation by Malaysian standards. On the other hand, you have to keep in mind that it is a huge logistical effort to get everything necessary to accommodate and feed tourists to the other side of the river. The same applies to water and sewer pipes. There is plenty of staff, everyone is super nice, the whole facility is constantly maintained. So you have to look at it as a whole, and given that I can live comfortably on the edge of a primary forest, it's worth every penny. There was only one big disadvantage: My stay was too short;-)! I would like to come back, but for longer. A very powerful flashlight for night walks is recommended.
