The Hotel is beautiful and the perfect escape. The in-house restaurant is very charming. Breakfast is also fantastic. Would suggest it is an ideal honeymoon/romantic break spot. The customer service is out of this world. First class all the way. Hire a car if you want to go out anywhere, but you could equally just stay at the complex the whole time.

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. Hotel was lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nightly entertainment was a bonus.

El Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort Hotel, de 5 estrelles, està situat al cim d'un penya-segat a l'illa de Madeira i ofereix 4 restaurants, 2 bars i vistes a l'oceà Atlàntic. En general TOT, crec que és un hotel molt maco, amb unes vistes des de les habitacions excelente,habitacions grans, bany molt ampi, el tracte del perosnal és fantàstic, les instalciones també, amb 2 pisicines exteriors d'aigua salada i una amb acces al mar, dos piscines interiors,... i un esmortzar genial. Si vas amb cotxe de lloguer, hi ha aparcament, que s'omple amb falicitat , si he de dir alguna cosa menys possitiva de l'hotel és aquesta. Malgrat que l'hotel te moltes habitacion, no ho sembla ni tants sols a l'hora d'esmortar. als voltant hi han restaurants i fins i tot botigues de souvenirs. Segur que torno i torno a aquest hotel

Surrounded by tropical gardens, the seaside Pestana Grand Ocean Resort Hotel features the largest salt water pool on the Madeira Island. We had an enormous room with 2 balconies and a large TV room. There was a lot of space. The hotel was very quiet, very few children which suited us. The spa has a lovely heated indoor going to outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. /everything was clean. The outdoor pool is glorious. But very cold (unheated) however it was a lovely pool for the views and because it was quiet - likely because it was cold. The views from the pool areas a over the ocean and are beautiful. The breakfast and dinner buffets are a bit crowded and elbows seem to be deployed by people to get in - not much orderly waiting. There is a lot of food although maybe not the top quality, there was enough choice to keep us happy. The best part is free fuzzy wine in the morning for breakfast, sitting on the most glorious veranda to watch the morning pass, and the bird of prey they use to chase away the pigeons. The hotel has services which can be booked and a shop. Lots of room around the pool to sit.

The 5-star Vidamar Resorts Madeira is situated on Madeira's southern coast, just few minutes' walk from central Funchal. It features 3 salt-water infinity pools for adults and one for children. so hospitable. the halfboard option really saved me and my partner time arguing over where to eat. they have their own buffet inside the hotel aswell as an Italian and madeiran restaurant close to the hotel incase you don’t like what food is on the buffet that day. there are four pools outdoors so the pool isn’t so full it’s uncomfortable like a lot of other hotels. great location.

Vila Baleira Resort All Inclusive has an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool. It is located in Porto Santo and has access just a few meters from the beach. We just love the place with all-inclusive to relax and be off duty
