An amazing hotel with an extremely friendly staff that was ready to accommodate our needs or quick to fix any inconvenience. The staff additionally cleaned a little bit in the evening, made a bed and bring small chocolates. Super cute. The place was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. I loved the infinity pool and the views from the hotel. It was especially wonderful to fall asleep listening to the ocean. I like the spa facilities but can’t say that massage was exceptional for my taste. I hiked and walked a lot so expected some muscle release massage but it was just a very spa oriented procedure, didn’t really ease my muscle tension. Overall an incredible experience and I would love to come back.

Die Unterkunft Escarpa - The Madeira Hideaway, die in Ponta do Sol, 1,2 km von Strand Praia da Madalena do Mar entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool,... Gorgeous, clean, modern hotel. We had a wonderful room with a terrace that had both lounge chairs and a table and chairs. The view was spectacular (endless blue ocean). Great bed, great shower, small fridge. Peace and quiet. Other guests were friendly and considerate. Most importantly though, the staff was fabulous! All very lovely people and good at their jobs. And the breakfast... just amazingly good and copious, every single day, with cereals, eggs, yogurt, fruits, cheeses etc. Great coffee and tea too. Their fresh orange juice is the best I have ever tasted. The small restaurant at the bottom of the slope had really good food (soup, fish, pasta etc) and enthusiastic and fun service (the server is a truly delightful person), and a gorgeous view. Pricing is decent, in line with other restaurants on the island. The pool is beautiful (not heated). With some courage, we managed to swim daily in early March. There is a warm jacuzzi next to it where you can warm up again :) Location is pretty good for driving up to the Paul da Serra area in the mountains, where you can do some nice hiking (the 25 fontes levada and Fanal forest for example).

Das luxuriöse Royal Savoy - Ocean Resort liegt inmitten tropischer Gärten in der Bucht von Funchal und bietet 2 beheizte Pools im Lagunenstil sowie einen eigenen Zugang zum Meer. Das Hotel erfüllt alle Qualitätsansprüche. Das Frühstück im Royal Savoy war grandios und abwechslungsreich. Zu erwähnen sind die vielen regionalen Spezialitäten, die das internationale Angebot bereichern. Aber es lohnt sich auch unbedingt, das kulinarisch ausgezeichnete Restaurantangebot zu erleben, das zu abwechslungsreichen Themen gestaltet wird. Die Poollandschaft ist wunderschön und architektonisch großartig gestaltet. Zu erwähnen ist der beheizte Meerwasser-Swimming Pool, der sich mit einer Länge von etwa 30 Metern exzellent zum sportlichen Schwimmen eignet. Aber auch der direkte Zugang in die Atlantik-Schwimmbucht hat seinen Reiz.

Die Unterkunft Lydia's Place verfügt über einen Balkon mit Stadtblick, ein Restaurant sowie einen eigenen Strandbereich und befindet sich in Funchal, nahe Strand Almirante Reis und 2,4 km von Strand... Everything was good. Nice place well equipped and helpful staff.

Die Unterkunft Terrabona Nature & Vineyards, die in Boaventura, 21 km von Traditionelle Strohhäuser Santana entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool,... We stayed 3 days in one of the beautiful villa’s on the wine yard. We loved the privacy and quietness. The villa has a nice living room with kitchen where you can relax or make a small meal. We tasted on of their own produced wines which tasted great. Every morning fresh bread was delivered. There is a good espresso maker. After a day hiking you can swim in the pool and enjoy the view to the ocean, take a sauna or bath in the villa. There are several very good restaurants just 15 min ride from the villa. Not to forget the bed, bedsheets, pillows are amazing. We both slept very good. If you open the door you hear all night the sound of the river. Had best sleeping score since months

Very central, close to the waterfront and the city of Funchal! Well equipped and very comfortable! Beautifully furnished and the view is really great.

Das Savoy Calheta Beach mit Blick auf den Atlantischen Ozean liegt am Strand Calheta. Everything is perfect. Location, staff, food, pools, beach, live music (samba) evenings, surroundings, nature..second year in a row now in Calheta. Definitely coming back again

Das oben auf einer Klippe auf der Insel Madeira liegende 5-Sterne-Hotel Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort bietet 4 Restaurants, 2 Bars und Aussicht auf den Atlantischen Ozean. We really like our stay at this hotel! Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The balcony view was breathtaking, there were also two sunbeds and it was also really spacious. The meals were plenty and sooo many choices!!! The waiters was so kind and helpful. There will be so many activities: pool party was so much fun! :) Also the hotel staff was so attentive, they know when my birthday is, and they brough me champagne, it was very nice from them! After check-out, we could leave our lagguage at the hotel, they were so polite and kind, it was a really nice experience! :) I really recommend this hotel!!!

Das am Meer gelegene und von tropischen Gärten umgebene Pestana Grand Ocean Resort Hotel bietet den größten Salzwasserpool auf der Insel Madeira. This is my second time at the hotel, it is a very nice hotel, calm resting environment, excellent staff, great spa!
