Saccharum - Resort & Spa on ylellinen 5 tähden designhotelli. Se sijaitsee Calhetan rannalla Madeiran vuoriston ja Atlantin valtameren välillä. Iso ja hyvätasoinen hotelli saaren lounaisosassa, vajaa tunti lentokentältä pikatietä pitkin. Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta, useampi ravintola ja kohtuullinen Spa-osasto. Palvelut toimivat. Yökerhoja kaipaaville ei paras vaihtoehto sen enempää hotellina kuin paikkakuntanakaan. Valitussa huoneessa ollut vuode oli riittävän kokoinen, ilman tarkistusmittausta 220x260. Myös peitto riitti kummallekin.

Set in Boaventura, 21 km from Santana's traditional houses, Terrabona Nature & Vineyards offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. The "hotel" (only 4 small villas) is in a beautiful location with outstanding views. The small villa's are very private and far from each other and beautiful as well. The bed was super comfortable, shower facilities great. Very nicely decorated unit (living room etc). Very nice pool and sauna (it was too cold for us to go in the pool). We had 2 dinners on site with the hosts that were very nice and great to meet the other guests and the hosts. The location is on the north east of the island which is the wilder part of the island. Breakfast is self-catered: you get fresh bread in the morning and have fresh eggs, cheeses, salami etc in the fridge and make your own breakfast. There is a very nice real coffee machine and ground coffee provided as well.

Vidamar Resorts Madeira sijaitsee Madeiran etelärannikolla, vain muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Funchalin keskustasta. so hospitable. the halfboard option really saved me and my partner time arguing over where to eat. they have their own buffet inside the hotel aswell as an Italian and madeiran restaurant close to the hotel incase you don’t like what food is on the buffet that day. there are four pools outdoors so the pool isn’t so full it’s uncomfortable like a lot of other hotels. great location.
