Amazing place, very clean, everyone super friendly. Location is a bit remote but after some days and after visiting Funchal, we realized it was much better - more privacy and more raw. lt was just perfect.

Featuring a balcony with sea views, a private beach area and a casino, Lydia's Place can be found in Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach and 2.4 km from Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach. Everything was good. Nice place well equipped and helpful staff.

Set in Boaventura, 21 km from Santana's traditional houses, Terrabona Nature & Vineyards offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. This was such a one of a kind experience! Marco gave us the warmest of welcomes and showed us the gorgeous suite and stunning pool area before handing us a glass of his wine. The suites are built right into the vineyard, making for beautiful views all around. We loved the personal touches – you can really feel and see that everything was handpicked and designed by Marco and Maria. The two of them poured their heart into the project and make sure that everyone is comfortable. We even got to join them for harvest and they organized a private dinner for us – such a special experience all around. Thank you Marco & Maria, we’ll back!

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. All was nice / overall everything was excellent

Affacciato sull'Oceano Atlantico, il Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort Hotel a 5 stelle sorge in cima a una scogliera sull'isola di Madera, a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Funchal, e ospita 4... My wife and I absolutely LOVED this place. Very clean, well organized, super breakfast (my wife felt there should have been more vegetable options, though). The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a very nice woman at the hotel set up for us a very nice excursion on the western side of the island. The pools here are great, they have a sauna, jacuzzi and massage options on site. A hair salon is also on site. The hotel arranged a nice taxi to the airport after our stay. Our room was good-sized, GREAT view of the sea. Comfy beds. Maid service every day with clean sheets and plenty of towels. The bathroom was superb with lots of counter space. The WiFi worked well. Elevators were quick. We feel we should have stayed longer!!! The location of this hotel is awesome. It's a block away from the main street that leads right into all the shopping and restaurants, cafes, etc. in the center of the city. It's also an easy walk to the port and the old city. It is very close to the ferry to Porto Sancho. The hotel is in a nice, quiet spot up on a hill with several restaurants that are steps away (they range from an Irish pub to fine dining). We are DEFINITELY returning and we will stay here for sure. The city of Funchal... and the entire island of Madeira... are absolutely AWESOME!

It was a beautiful location. The staff was very accommodating. I loved the half-board feature. Everything was perfect.
