The onsen was amazing! The open air, was literally in the forest and it was so quite that you could relax to the maximum. All the employees were super polite and the room was by far the largest one compared to other cities we visited in Japan.

Walking distance from train station. The dinner and breakfast were exceptionally delicious, the room we had was spacious and clean, and the tatami was very comfortable. I also like their option of public and private onsen.

This property was absolutely lovely. The room was very large and spacious. The in room outdoor bath was very enjoyable! I enjoyed the entire experience and wish I could've stayed longer. The breakfast was really good.

Very nice and spacious ryokan. Also got private onsen inside your room. Staff super friendly and accommodating, they made sure we felt like home. It comes with dinner and breakfast and the food was top notch, all so fresh! Area is on a hill and Google maps might tell you to turn right when you go up the hill but just keep going straight and you’ll see the ryokan right away. Area super quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend

Reception was first class. Asked to sit in a waiting room while staff gathered the routine info required at any hotel check-in, we were asked if we wanted coffee, tea. juice, soda. We were then escorted to our room. Staff provided an overview of amenities, then left us alone. It was a great intro to the Hakone Balinese Roykan. Superb.

Delicious and beautifully presented kaiseki dinner and breakfast! So so good. The owner was also really sweet :) the ‘rotating’ onsen was amazing, especially the small one outdoors (one days its for women and another day for men!)

This traditional ryokan is a short walk from the station. Our room was spacious clean and overlooked the beautiful gardens and the outdoor onsen was gorgeous !
